Getting Listed on Feds.ca

All Feds-recognized clubs are entitled to a listing on this website. Email Dave McDougall the Clubs Director, with the following information, and Feds will make sure your club is listed:

- A description (100 words maximum) of your club.
- The generic email address for your club. For instance, hindimovieclub@hotmail.com
- The URL (address) of your club's website. For instance, http://www.eauw.feds.ca

Getting a Web Site

Clubs can now have their website hosted by Feds. If interested, please visit http://admin.clubs.feds.ca for more info.

The UW Web Developers Club is looking for clubs who need help with their websites. If this is you, please contact them at execcom-uwwd@googlegroups.com

Making Posters

Your club is encouraged to advertise events and meetings by creating posters. Feds has a number of marketing services that can help your club, including the poster run, which can help you distribute your posters across campus.

It's extremely important that all of your promotional materials contain the following, in order to be posted:

The Federation of Students Club Logo
- Your club's logo and name stated clearly on the material.

All posters must be approved first by the Clubs Director, prior to being posted.

Event Planning

The first step in planning a club event is to submit a Club Event Form. From here, the Clubs Assistant will read your event form and book the appropriate location for you. Generally, it takes four business days to receive confirmation of your booking after you have submitted the form.

No venue manager at the University of Waterloo will allow a club to book an event for a club without the Club Director or Assistant's consent.

For more information on ticketing, catering, audiovisual, etc... please visit the Club Manual, Events section or email the Clubs Director.
